I’m thankful for a relaxing start to my day last weekend. I had a very busy day ahead, so I took some time to sit on the porch, breathe deeply, enjoy the fresh air, and drink some coffee with pumpkin spice on top! I wish I could start every day that way, as I felt much more calm and peaceful despite having lots of work to do.
I’m thankful for a relaxing massage. In the middle of my long list of things to do on Sunday, I took advantage of a 40 dollar hour long massage. This massage was seriously deep tissue, and she worked out so many of the knots that have developed the past few weeks because of running and biking. I felt SO much better after she was doing (although during it hurt quite a bit at some points!)
I’m thankful for fantastic fall bike rides. As I’ve said before, nature feels so peaceful and grounding to me, and I’m loving getting to experience this fall on my bike.
I’m thankful for delicious fall oreos! Seriously. Have you tried either of those flavors yet? If you haven’t, run… no… SPRINT to the nearest store and pick yourself up both flavors. They are absolutely delicious, and one of my favorite parts of fall so far! I’m thankful for the little things like delicious treats.
I’m thankful for how productive I’ve been able to be the last 10ish days. You know when deadlines approach, the stress response kicks in just enough to make you a bit extra productive, and things just click? That’s how my last almost two weeks have felt as major deadlines for some work projects approached. It’s feeling good to be mostly done with those projects!
Now it’s your turn to share! What are you feeling thankful for today?
I love quiet mornings with coffee too! I’ve never gotten a massage (well, except from my physical therapist), but I heat they work wonders. I love biking as well.
I’m thankful that I’m a morning person and also for coffee since I wake up so early!
At some point you definitely need to get a massage! They are truly fantastic 🙂 I’ve slowly become more and more of a morning person, and I really do enjoy it! I hope you have a great weekend!
