Happy Friday!ย Well, after three weeks of wearing midnight cami nail polish, I finally switched to another winter favorite: OPI’s Lincoln Park After Dark. This has been on my toenails for a good part of winter, but I obviously don’t post pictures of that ๐ I love this color:
The color is so smooth, and it’s a dark dark purple-ish maroon, but almost looks black in certain lights. I think it’s a solid staple for fall, winter, and early spring!
And now some random Friday Facts:
1. One of my favorite ways to eat popcorn is with Sriracha on top! I pop it, dump some of it into a bowl, drizzle Sriracha on top, and eat it with a spoon like cereal. I know it sounds a little weird, but it’s delicious!
2. I’m exactly half way through this age-year, as today is my half-birthday. No, I don’t celebrate half birthdays, but I do pause and take stock in how I’ve spent the year so far. Overall, I’m really happy with everything I’ve done in the last 6 months… but they sure have gone ridiculously quickly!
3. This past weekend I made Root Beer Float Cupcakes! I’ve made them a few times a year since December of 2012, and I’m obsessed. Seriously, if you’re looking for an easy option for making cupcakes, these are a great option!
4. A few months ago I found the blog Essie Buttonย , and while I don’t wear tons of make up, I am really really enjoying her youtube channel. Have any of you watched her videos before?
5. I finally watched the Parenthood finale- TEARS. I really loved how they wrapped everything up, and I definitely had lots of feelings flying around in those final minutes.

I am boring – my favorite type of cupcake is plain vanilla with buttercream frosting. I haven’t had one since my birthday in November!
Vanilla is a complex flavor- it just can seem boring because it’s common ๐ I love a vanilla cupcake with buttercream- they’re delicious! ๐
I love that nail polish color, I totally own a bottle and it’s my favorite!
Hmmmm, idk what kind of cupcake I would want. Ideally something with chocolate, caramel, and maybe coconut?

Sriracha and popcorn?!? I have never heard of this combination. I canโt handle really spicy flavors, but the mellowness of the popcorn may balance it out.
I just started the first season of Parenthood (yes, a little behind the times, I know) and LOVE IT!!!

I know the combination sounds weird, but I love it! I used to start with just a few drops of sriracha, but my spicy tolerance has increased quite a bit in the last year! I’m so glad that you’ve been enjoying Parenthood. It’s great ๐

They are amazing. When I make them they are smaller than the big ones from a bakery (200-250 calories I think), and I’ve eaten one every day for the last week. They don’t get old ๐
